The postman called 4 times but was in for 3 of them...
Sorry about the long wait as Duofuzz my lil brother got a new job a while back an has been very busy of late...
I've been to blooming busy with work an daughter moving plus My darling other half making plans without me..
Though got told afterwards so its ok .... LOl
Anyway awhile back i aksed for information on the pros an cons of the Westone Prestige 117 an 227 models
http://forum.westoneguitars.net/t4374-looking-for-advice-on-117-an-227-prestige-guitars
Anyway had decided i wanted to try an get a 227 in the lovely red but couldn't find many around...
anyway one day after being sent home from work ill i thought bugger it i'll take a punt on a Aria which was described on evil bay as a CS 380...
Had checked it out an knew it was a CS 400 in the Black an Gold range an thought it was too good to miss...
Took ages to arrive as went to wrong address first before being tracked down in depot an got redelivered nearly 3 weeks after being posted..
It had been well packed an was safe which was a pleasing sight...
This is the pics i have right now as it came out of the box..
For a 31 year old guitar its in good nick.. Ok there is some rash an a string Ferrell plus a few screws missing or broken but nothing polish an few orders can't put right....
This is where i'll have to leave it for now as work calls again...
The Aria is now finished so hopefully i should be able to get some more pics though if Dan has some he might add too with what he did....
The only thing i'm going to say is what a great guitar an very underrated an over looked beast these are...
P.S. thanks for looking Gasman Steve....

Nice grab Steve!
These are stunningly elegant guitars with their understated theme. Sound great too from what the boyz at Matsumoku.org say.
A bit more info HERE and HERE
I have yet to see one of these locally but hope springs eternal eh.

must admit Barry i was surprised to win it but it was described wrong .. The Aria came with p&p well under £200:00 which was a shock...
I can't remember the last time i saw one for sale though found a few sunburst CS400's in the states for about £400:00 mark which i would says a very good price...
Mind if you do find one local Barry have your wallet handy as there very addictive an a great guitar.. Its my first set neck Uncle mat guitar an it blows epiphones into the weeds...
Thanks Pete mate i'm going to try to get some time free an come over to let you have a go mate..
Nearly forgot Barry & Pete keep an eye out as my other Aria i got was inspired by both of yous..
Pete the urchin i was after an liked your Single pickup Spectrum Barry..

The next one i got was this little Beauty...
A 1986 in mint condition Aria Pro 11 The cat in Candy Apple Red..
Needs cleaning an a set up but its great.. Even the pickup is really good for a change with the Korean arias...
The trem arms been done to for a better fitting one...
Though the body id from the Hume of the great ply tree but this thing sings.. The neck joint is up there with the uncle mats Arias...

From what they tell me on the Mats site, many of these are good little players. Even if they are hewn from the ply-uh, laminate tree. Great colour too!

Yip its cracking lil player Barry mate.. Was looking for a one with the khaler on but saw this one an just had to have her... Best thing no gimmicks.. Single good pickup 1 volume control an jack socket..
Yeah they did do them but not seen another single pickup cat either Pete mate. Know that The Uncle mat ones went with model names with either 1 or 2 for different pickup layouts..
An yeah he will be busy though not planning anymore buys yet.... Will change in 20 seconds time like but up to now im sticking with what i got...
