Anybody know if the 'one volume' control thing is original or a mod?

There's one Westone model I thinks terrible. I'd never post my opinion on a members sale.

Comments on an item for sale is fair dinkum I think, especially on its condition. And I see nothing wrong in expressing the general desirability of a guitar. We all have our preferences which are usually backed up by experience and many find the impressions helpful, or at least as a catalyst to spark a conversation, which is the point of the forum after all.

We're not a vehicle to sell Westones, we're collectors and players, so we calls 'em as we sees 'em.

I can't comment on it as I haven't even seen one, far less played one! I do seem to recall David Blair found them as Damian has just commented, though?!

We're not having a go at you, Tosh, or even really at the guitar; just general observations on an individual guitar, after all, this IS a Westone specific site and the knowledge base is very wide indeed with not too many shrinking violets among us!!

Commenting on someone elses sale is something that I do not do. It is part of my own personal etiquette policy.

If, however, you post a link to your sale on this forum, you are kind of inviting comments whether you want them or not.

If Damian had said it was a cracking guitar at a bargain price, I am sure that you would have welcomed the review.

I personally enjoy the honesty of the guys in this forum and nobody here would believe in blowing smoke up somebody's a*$e just because they are a member and have a guitar for sale


keep in mind that these comments are only read by the members here and the guitar is what it is - some may love it and others may not

Not just members, the unregistered masses too.

The ad. does state all things about this particular guitar.
Such as headstock chopped, half the electrics removed and a repaint.
So no ones slagging it off.
