I spotted my first Westone about 8 yrs ago (Concord 1) and soon after started researching all of these great mats guitars. I must admit that of all the Mats guitars Skylarks really did pique my interest. Never seen one for sale in Australia and rarely anywhere else. This one looks like a beauty.
One question though - with the positioning of that bridge on a 25.5 scale 24 fret guitar just how big is that body ???

The body size is very similar to an Aria Cardinal Sound, virtually identical really, if those are in greater supply in AussieLand. I've not taken the time to check the bridge position with a tape yet.
These Skylarks were only sold in the USA via JC Penney so it isn't surprising they would be a scarce commodity elsewhere, even over here you hardly see them, especially the entry level bolt on model.
Rarer yet, Mats badged the same guitar as the blue one in the auction under the Oakland brand, the difference being in the finish of that model, which is a natural wood grain.
