Oh, a nice looking Westone Prestige 250. I would like to bid but though I live in Sweden I can´t do this. The seller has "collection only" (again, not the first time). Sad

If it only were in Sweden those beauties were sold!

I think for anyone interested it would be worth contacting the seller. Don't see any reason why they wouldn't wait in for a courier to collect, after all they would need to wait in for the buyer. Curious though, it's got a ding on the headstock in exactly the same place as my old one and it's the right age - I wonder.......

Well, I sent him a message and asked but he was unsure of how to book shipping and how to package the guitar but I gave him some answers and tips in both the questions and said that I gladly bid if he allows international. Smile

I've dealt with this situation before by organising the courier myself. Worked out really well.

Ah, that is an alternative! But if the seller does not want to package the guitar in a good way there is a problem. Or is it possible to buy this service as well from a shipping courier?

Is that you old guitar you think? *curious*

Just wishful thinking - I'd like to think its still out there.
I really don't understand the attitude of sellers who won't make the effort. After all bubble wrap isn't expensive.
Good luck with the seller, hope it works out.

Well, I got an answer from the seller and after my questions and tips he decided to open up the auction for international so I really hope I have a chance to win this beautiful baby! It would make me so glad if I did! Smile

I think you are right about that sir! pale

But I still hoping I will have a chance getting it. Announced for a Westone Prestige 150 and/or 250 here in Sweden for over a year ago and have not got one answer. Nothing at all. Oh, yes, there was one actually trying to sell a guitar he did not have! A scam!

Nothing more...

So if these Prestige models are rare for you out there I can tell you, in Sweden they never show up for sale. I know of one who owns a Prestige 150 and we made an agreement that if he is ever selling I am the first in line getting the opportunity to buy it (we made this agreement though we both were going to bid on it on ebay but I let him have it).

EDIT: This Prestige 150 was a beautiful black in great condition. Liked it a lot and still I wonder if I did the right thing letting him having it. Wink

Well, we will see what happens!

How can you tell? *curious* Smile

Did you look at the the history of the bidding on the auction and saw something odd?

See that someone had just made some new bids on it, already this high price and still two days to go. A lot of people wanting this guitar it seems. Shocked
