Prestige 250
Just in case anyone hasn't spotted this yet...
eBay link
A fine looking guitar! Shame about the ding in the neck but I guess thats just a bit of character. Also not sure whats holding the bridge and tailpiece on. I know if I left my rainbow like that the tailpeice would drop off.
Good luck anyone having a punt on this one

Re: Prestige 250
I'm not sure I've ever met a pleased ferret. They've all been on a scale somewhere between surly and downright angry!
I suspect he's going to be pleasantly surprised by the end price of that auction. I always told myself I'd bid high on one if it came up but its managed to appear just before christmas and the brink of the infamous 'credit crunch'. I'm going to let this one pass too but I'm watching with interest.

Yeah, I got it.
But how can you expect to advertise an item for sale on an international web site but then only expect someone local to buy it?

I don't think the price will go very high if the seller is not willing to ship it from his location.

I FULLY INTEND TO LET THE AUCTION RUN ITS COURSE. To the many people who have e-mailed me from abroad, asking me
about postage, I will purchase a hard case for the guitar so that it arrives in one piece. The recipt for the case will be enclosed
to show the price. I cannot understand why this guitar has generated so much interest and I only hope that I have answered all the
many e-mails that have been sent - please forgive me if I have not answered.
hope this helps - btw I have a prestige 250 and anybody who hasnt got one and loves westones needs one cheers Challpa

Yup, not a bad price! I also noticed a red Thunder 1-A go for over 200 last week. Seems like the credit crunch isn't hitting the Westone market too badly!

I think this price is reasonable for that guitar.

I was lucky enough to get the said red Thunder 1-A , which I have to say was undersold by the ebayer. I have given it full clean up along with new strings and other than a small nick in the neck, its like new. Sounds great, just like the last one I had in 1985. Forgotten how heavy they are!
Also had my eye on the Prestige but was seriously outbid- Now another one on but already attracting serious attention
