What's your favorite fret size and why?

I still like Jumbo best. So easy to play on. Although they demand a lighter touch. If you're not a big bender then you may like smaller frets?

On songs that demand a lot of bends, taps, or pull offs, I find myself a little limited as to what guitars I can choose to play (since the larger fret guitars make those things much more effortless).

Mediums over here, I don't play lead much (bloody hopeless) so don't have a "need" for jumbos, saying that, my sunn mustangs have jumbos and they are some of the best necks I've played... So in conclusion........ I don't know

Oh Barry thanks for pointing that out.

Not only am humiliated by an impoverished childhood which compelled me to cycle around on a 30 year old girls bike, but my Avatar changes regularly in a mocking fashion to illustrate which ever one of my negative characteristics which comes to the fore at any given time.

The world is a cruel and desolate planet.

I like the low frets that I thought most Westones have.

Besides, it's not the size of the frets, it's how of use them.

Amiright?

Hey Guys and I thought that you had found me a Prestige 250 in need of restoration.

Actually, I would have given my eye teeth for a lovely pink bike.

Mine was more like this

Fret size 3077217049 Thanks for pointing that out Barry, that changing status is hilarious for some reason! Oh man, got me laughing out loud again.

And that's a quite nice old girls bike. Reminds me of the bikes on "Call the Midwife". Fret size 3787846186

Yeah Chad - I felt a bit like a midwife when I rode it. Can you imagine a childhood completely devoid of street cred, like mine!!

Go on John - I know you are going to do it "Bitter individual" will be replaced by "girlie midwife" !

It's no fun if you're expecting it, man! Naughty

Fret size; wide and low! Not because I can shred like Satch - I most certainly cannot!! - but just because they feel comfortable...

For chording I like low wide frets like John said. They're good for sliding, too.

For lead type work, jumbo.
