Ya got that right. I've been working on a couple of Chinese poo Gibson 335 Trini Lopez model knock off's for one of our young clients who is in a Foo Fighters tribute band. Dave Grohl plays 'em. Rolling Eyes
He does have 3 real ones but they're worth so much money as collectibles that he didn't want to gig 'em after I had restored 'em (understandable).

These knock offs are cheap, in every sense of the word. I've literally replaced all hardware and electronics on them in order to get a workable, reliable sound out of them. In the process of replacing pots, etc, I had to dig into the body at various places and I can tell you that the only thing holding the "mystery wood" together is the bloody paint job!
