Westone Reb Beach (Or Alvarez AES100RD Successor) Wanted
I have an Alvarez AES100BK Successor from 1992 which I love so I am looking to obtain a companion for it, either a Westone Reb Beach model (I'm assuming they're quite rare ) or the red model of the Alvarez Successor (AES100RD). I know they're both rare, but this is probably the best place to ask for one.
And pics of my guitar with a section of my sock as a bonus.

This is why God invented the cropping tool.Phormlyss wrote:...And pics of my guitar with a section of my sock as a bonus...
Guitar is little scary looking.
Not sure what the point is for removing so much of the body, it's not like it's a 12 string and needs the space for 6 more machine heads or sumptin'.

I wouldn't want to deny my foot it's moment in the spotlight.
I found the design a bit perplexing as well, I assume the cutaway was to allow the tremolo to be pulled up on unimpeded, it also lends itself well to playing in classical position if you're sitting down.
In 1991 Ibanez took the shape minus the bevels on the edges and created their RBM Voyager model.

The Rob Beach Westie would be impossible to find.
For that matter, how many Westone Dana's have we seen compared to other Westone's?! Two?!
And that Alvarez, I had the chance to get a red one for cheap, but my Wife is mean.
I like the cut of its jib, that black one you got.

They're inlaid pieces of black plastic. The Alvarez Danas I've seen with Rosewood fretboards have a similar style inlay but with mother of pearl blocks.

The shape of this makes me think of a guitar EVH ruined with a saw... but it still made it on the cover of Women & Children First.

Thst would be an Ibanez Destroyer and you are correct. When he "shark-toothed" that guitar the tone was ruined and it became basically a visual novelty for photo shoots and little else.
