Looks to be in great condition as well. Not really my cup of tea and Hertfordshire is a way away from Yorkshire so good luck to anyone who's interested. wonder what the reserve is - don't think you'll get it for a penny!

Wow - quick work! Seller prepared to end the auction early for an offer he couldn't refuse? Let us know when you have it in hand - wouldn't want anyone trying to trump you before you have it

Well after a few phone calls and an agreed price the seller hasn't the decency to even mention that he has changed his mind. Just relisted it. There you are grogg. May the highest bidder win. Good luck all. Don't think he realizes Ebay will eat 10% of the final sale. Twat.

It's not even 10 miles from me. After having arranged to pick it up this evening... and then nowt!!
Re: Of any interest to anyone? UK X390
It still looks very white compared to most - he may have been pretty honest in that it wasn't played much, it looks great. Is it really yours now Westbone? If so, you need to make a deal on the roughed up white one ya got

Yup, I did a GoogleEarth search of the area. Sorry Damian, not attempting to rub in lemon juice or anything...

The guitar is not in Cheshunt but Loughton, even closer. I'm just well peed off. At half 6 this evening we spoke. He was on his way home and would phone when there. Nothing, won't even reply to my calls. After a day of calls. What a prize plonker.

No, but after a lot of calls and an agreed price, could of at least had the decency to explain on the phone.

Looks like doublespeak is alive and well over there as well. Painfully reminiscent of my experience last June with that early model PW. Just plain sux, Damian
peter andre sounds like a right ©üñ+ for not manning up.
Probably can't get the wife to hand over the stones...
*EDIT* peter andre is what the forum sanitizing service substitutes for the pejorative wæñkér

Re: Of any interest to anyone? UK X390
I've been burned a few times. It stinks. When I was outbid on my last 350, and the bid was retracted, it looked like I burned the seller, but contacted immediately and we worked it out.
There is a lot to be said to good communication when there is any issue. We both kept our nice ebay rating and both got what we wanted. The D bags that do not have the decency to communicate suck.

As well as "putzes" who just plain lie about an item then claim didn't know what they were doing ...

Re: Of any interest to anyone? UK X390
The way this one is going you sort of get the feeling that even if you won the auction there'd be some reason that the deal didn't happen. Very poor form to accept an offer and then go back on it. If the intention is to let the auction run it's course then so be it.
And why is it constantly being removed and re-listed rather than simply amended? Messing with reserve prices? Seems like the seller knew he had something of value but has been suprised by the interest regardless. Shame really - bit of research would have told him that

If i click on the link, the item is there, but if i try searching for it directly, doesn't seem to come up
Maybe some of those early bidders got annoyed enough to have a word about the sellers conduct?

Re: Of any interest to anyone? UK X390
To have what??? It seems that there is no there, there...
I concur that if he did let it go to auction and finish he would probably think it should have earned more no matter what the winning bid was and renege in the end. Damian seems to have the best shot at it as he is relatively close by and has already begun pursuit.
This seller comes off as awfully skittish and flighty to me... stones are most likely MIA or wanting...

It's moved again..cupid stunt.
The guys been so surprised by the amount of interest in it.
Hence relisting time and time again, changing postage perimeter, more photos, defined info. ect. good luck to him ect. ect. ect. It's now worldwide.
They made 100'000'000' of Strats + Tele's they seem to be worth a hell of a lot more. Gonna stick mine on 'bay, for a F-nk.
Re: Of any interest to anyone? UK X390
I'm sure he will be monitoring the responses here. Would be great if we knew what he wants, I mean, how much is thus worth. To me, it's worth how it plays. If it's a player then I would spend but I don't like terms (apart from steinberger) and I'm not spending to use it as a bit of decoration. Westbone, if I was buying I would pass on to you at my cost+shipping.
Mea culpa as far as recent pricing is concerned, but I think this guy has got starry eyes like when someone on the antiques roadshow finds out tha their worthless bit of tat is actually worth thousands.
Sellers please remember, it's the buyer who sets the price.
Anyway, all things considered, I hope he fails in his money grabbing venture and has to go crawling back to you westbone, good luck.

Just contrasting your chances against your body of work thus far. You seem to have the knack, or gift, or Midas Touch, or call it what have you to procure these rarer examples.
I'm sure in the end it is more about your persistence and work ethic than luck that brings these home.
Re: Of any interest to anyone? UK X390
Its at £360 already and 8 days to go. With an international listing and the willingness to ship the game has changed... Damian, some you lose, lots you win.

Re: Of any interest to anyone? UK X390
I am the brother of who's guitar x390 is up for sale, it was ME who made him take the guitar off sale! He phoned me and told be a person was very keen and being a pest and keeps phoning and wanting to buy the guitar. I am a seller on E Bay for the last 11 years with 5000+ points know when a chancer is offering cash that is is normally a VERY bad move to sell and the price £450!! was NOT fair for the condition of this (my bother wanted to take the £450 so blame me!!) .As a seller of rare vintage USA drums condition is everything there will NOT be a better example of that guitar anywhere, I promise the guitar is in the condition as stated and looks NEW, it has been at my parents house for 20 year and was never played when purchased. The reason it was taken off sale a few time is by brother did NOT realise that if it said local pick up only or uk bidding would make him lose out as he is NOT an e bay seller normally, every time he put it back u for sale he did it wrong >> it still said pick up or UK post only so I made him relist it as you can NOT edit when it had bids as I felt it needed to be a worldwide listing, Good luck if you bid, by brother Gary is not a guitar player just purchased this and never used it, it is a true story and as you will see it is a time warp example, sorry to see the bitter comments on this forum from a couple of people, John Please note now this auction is correct and set for world wide selling it will run and will NOT be pulled again, who ever wins will get the guitar when paid for.
