Post by Orbielee1 Mon Dec 20, 2010 5:19 pm

Hello, All!

I'm thinking of selling my X390CB. It's been a great 18 years, but I think she's ready for a new home. I'll keep you posted and post the ebay link if I don't chicken out. pale

I don't think there is an active version. I've never seen it in the catalogs. I've owned 5 of these and never seen an active one.

Please enlighten me.

I don't think it's an active version. Wouldn't that imply a battery somewhere on the unit? If so? No.

I'm betting you'll bale out; I know I would!! What a lovely guitar, man - you know you'll not find anything remotely as good for the money you'll get for this, right?! Family heirloom time, perhaps?? Send it to me for safekeeping.... Twisted Evil

I didn't think they made an active version neither untill I found one.
this is a 350ma, so could have done a 390 as well.

There is no active on/off switch, just connects up when plugged in.
This is mentioned on the Westone info site but not in any sales jargon.

Seems like a lot of models were built outside of the adverstising - kinda fun to look for those unique one's. I'd love to take that 350 off your hands one of these days - it's a nice one.

If and when I decide to let it go. It will be offered on here first.
The problem is finding something to replace it. Smile
