SNAKE! (sort of) -CAN
Came across this strange pretend slithery thingy
MIK?
Not sure what it is, but guessing late 80's?
A bit pricey methinks, even with an amp. CAD$399

no biggie, apparently the old one is still up so this is a completely new ad for the same guitar.

I want that guitar... just too far away from Pennsylvania. Probably won't ship it.

Re: SNAKE! (sort of) -CAN
Dimensions are pretty quirky. 2 coil tap switches, one for each pup...
That stacked "single-coil" when split can shriek sumpthin' awe-fully (good).
Does not appear to be a finish from the custom shop though...

Re: SNAKE! (sort of) -CAN
You're right, it doesn't appear to be factory. Any snakeskin from that time would've been real snakeskin, not a paintjob like that one appears to be.
But I'm still gassing for it.

You are correct sir. i looked into this one and it is indeed a paint job and not the real snakeskin.

Which is even better for me, I don't want actual skin. Too weird for me. Not scared of snakes or anything, just don't want skin on my guitar. I'll use a leather strap no problem, though.

Your suspicions are correct, Barry. Same old same old.
Re: SNAKE! (sort of) -CAN
I called and tried to buy it, but they wouldn't ship it due to insurance issues.
