Westone Dimension IV for Sale w/ Original Case

Up for sale is my white Westone Dimension IV which comes with the original case. This guitar plays like a dream and is in superb condition with the exception of a few minor nics on the points. It is missing the locking nuts for tremolo system and whammy bar, which are easy finds. The case is in great condition, but is missing the hinges because they eventually wore themselves out and I took them off with the intent to replace them. Below are a few pictures.

Coild you post a picture of the nut lock assembly? Depending on which one it is those clamps are going to be either impossible to find (you need to manufacture your own) or require finding similar Floyd clamps and modifying those to fit.

That axe looks to be in very nice shape! Love that red thunderbolt...

Well I guess I meant moreso the tremolo arm was an easy find. The locking nuts I guess aren't as easy of a find. :/ There is a thread to make your own on this forum somewhere isn't there? Thanks man! Love the Dead.

It is very fortunate you still have the outer clamps as they are the most difficult to manufacture. The backing shims that lie underneath the strings are also easier to fashion when only the middle one is needed.

That's an FT trem so the stringlocks require under and over washers, not shims and washers like a Deluxe!! They're not hard to make as long as you have a pattern, eh....

I bought a heap of them when the spares closed up simply because they're so damn easy to lose....

I grabbed a few myself and i'm glad i dd. However i need some shims for my 87 Spectrum III, they look pretty easy to make. Anyone remember how thick they are, for some reason 3 mm stands out on my mind.

I made mine from 1mm steel strapping; the kind that's used for big wool bales. They work great, though were hellish to drill!

Hasn't been sold yet, just throwing that out there.

Thanks man, after i wrote that i started thinking about how big 3mm is, and its bigger than those shims!! You know us Americans, we aren't so farmiliar with metrics.

Yes, finally did sell it... and for a lot less than it was worth but... I needed the money bad. The guy ended up complaining about one small nic on one of the points. I honestly tried my hardest to sell it on here. I would've rathered a collector buy it. I already miss it.

Aw man, I wish that dude would sell it to me. I have a sentimental attachment to the dimension iv since I owned one at a good time in my life. Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully I can find one. I do t care about dings as long as its structurally sound. I have a friend who owns a custom shop, so paint is no issue as long as its white with red bolts and majority in tact. Thanks.

Bridge looks to be intonated as well. Maybe not perfectly, as a couple saddles look to be maxed out. This would be a great metal guitar.
