Telemaster Build Empty Telemaster Build

I had a spare Aria neck kicking around, and also I had made a rew bodies out of some laminated salvaged oak, that once were a set of school shelves.

So I thought the two would go together nicely as a build project

Gave the body a few simple coats of varnish, and initially assembled it as an Esquire configuration

Then I had another idea.

Why not make it a two-banger?

One chrome tele pickup ring, and a bit more drilling and chiseling

Looks nice how does the guitar sound with that type wood? Is the tone in the lower smooth range or the higher range as this is a unique combo of wood for the body.

Its quite a bright guitar really, but there again, they are a set of Tele pickups in there. A set of humbuckers on this guitar may sound considerably different.

Holy backache Batman! She's gotta be bum heavy too, no? Shocked
No doubt she's a bright sounding guitar.

Brian May's dad's original creation was an oak-bodied wonder as well. You are onto something with this, perhaps you might go as far as wiring the pickups in series? Very Happy Very Happy
