This here seems to be a post Matt Korean Corsair GT in my near vicinity but out of my price range (seems way to high). It says it has an ebony fretboard but i can't find any info on that. A nice one, but these days i need a real good deal to purchase any new gitfiddles.

Ebony fretboard? Huh.

Nice looking Corsair, really like these. Is pricey though. I wonder how those Fender pup's sound?! Never been a big fan of single coils.

I'm with ya on the price, gotta be low for the Wife to approve!

Nothing like the quality stuff from Mats.

EGG 'ZACTLY

Do yourself a favor and wait for a stock example Hobs. I see them with fair regularity on CL.

Yup, my thoughts as well, painted fretboard for shizzle ( as discussed in the Dynasty thread). Yeah, maybe i'll try one those Korean Westies someday.

I know. I love these "ebony fretboard" listings. Laughing Nothing like a real ebony fretboard. Those are so nice. Cool

And don't go for a Korean unless you really enjoy relatively lighter sounding, boardering on shredder type offerings. Just so different from the Mats. Good in their own respect however.
