Nice small hardtail Steinberger. This is my first go with one and I must say, I like it. Very nice to play and has a lot of power with the active emg 81/85 setup. Great overall sound. Might do an 18v upgrade eventually.

I just can't get used to not having a headstock, seems strange, even with my rail bass, feels foreign.

I've got a steinberger spirit (not as classy as yours). Took a while to get used to not having a headstock but got there eventually. Can't praise the trem enough, really easy to set up, NEVER goes out of tune and really easy to change strings. Break a string mid song, no problem, just lock the trem. Best guitar I've got (apart from the P 250.
