Thunder III active preamp

Hi there, I'm new to this forum. I've just bought a rather wonderful Thunder III fretless. I always prefer the passive sound of a bass, but I want to make the most of the active preamp. I'm sure you all know you can have either bass boost OR treble boost, but not both at the same time. My question (finally!) is this- can I put in a double pot and wire it to have treble on one knob, and bass on the other, thereby boosting both at the same time. Skimming through some posts, I can see you're a helpful bunch, so I hope you can help me. Thanks.
