I once saw a documentary about some primitive/aboriginal tribe - I forget their locale - possibly Africa or South Pacific islanders. They did not have money so they bartered. A couple of men were bartering over a daughter for the dowry, and the currency was measured in chickens, goats, and mesh bags. The mesh bag was basically their only modern possession/item. It was a nylon mesh bag, kind of like a mesh shirt or fishnet stockings. These were highly prized. In the end, the price was something like 8 chickens, one goat, and one mesh bag.

Going forward, many of my friends will add 'and one mesh bag' to our bartering offers over guitars, guns, etc, as a joke.

So to offer two mesh bags means you were REALLY SERIOUS about obtaining the item.
