Message in a... westone.
Hi all,
guess what ive discovered... in the electronics cavity of my thunder 1 is a message written in pencil, it reads:
John parkers guitar purchased in oct 1982 played everyday soon be recognised by millions of my fans all over the world.
It is quite hard to make out one or two of the words but im quite positive ive got it right.
maybe this could have been your guitar...
bye for now

Hello Mark,
Is that cool or what?
I wonder where John Parker is now and if he still owns any Westones?
JOHN PARKER: If you are out there, our little bairn Mark here has got your old guitar - but I'm betting he won't let you have it back!
Cool find there Mark, now do your homework please!

not me
i didnt.. i figure whomever found it should get in touch with him.. i was just guessing that it was this guy.. if it is it seems easy enough to contact him.. i am sure he would be ok with not getting the guitar back.. he obviously lost it along the line.. hopefully not stolen.. ha.. he may be thrilled to find out where it has been and where you got it from, etc.. and i have no idea what i would be describing to him.. so i just did a little search work.. lol..
It's been a long time since I...
Wow, it's been a very long time since i was last on here, just thought i would log in to see what was going on and i see that someone (be it 3 years ago) may have found the person my guitar belongs to! I've still got the guitar so i'm going to contact the guy and see if it really was his!
Re: Message in a... westone.
Glad you found your way back, sticky. Had a long strange trip, did you?
I always have wondered what the upshot of this thread was. Perhaps we now will see!

Re: Message in a... westone.
No strange trips for me, just too much work! But now i'm at university i seem to have a lot more spare time on my hands
Looks like i'll have to keep searching, apparently he never owned one, so there must be another John Parker who plays/played guitar out there somewhere! Haha
