Lil background...Had a few westones over the years. I flip gear when I get bored....About 3 years ago I was the owner of an X350MA with bendmaster....Sold it on ebay from Colorado because I had no idea what it was and I made great money on it...Little did I know what I had lol...

Anyway

looks like one of them late 90's Korean Westones,, similar to this ..... but what what on earth happened to the last e?

Notice there is no E anywhere on it. Pickups, neck plate, trem, and headstock all said Weston.

As for the 350 ya it was dumb but I didnt know and I only paid 185 for it at a local pawn and sold it for 775 I think.

I do however still have the OHSC for it seeming the pawnshop found it over 2 years later and called me.


Oh and the third knob was varying levels of built in distortion.

Well, that's a new logo variant to me!
Almost certain to be Korean, but "Weston"?
If they were trying to avoid some kind of trademark infringement, I wonder why they kept the bird logo intact?? That's as much a Westone/Mats identifier as the name. Doesn't make much sense on any level.

Makes me think about the Fndr Tlcastr I have

perhaps they should have changed the logo to "We stoned" they were obviously out of their nut on something!! must have been that last "E" they ate :-)

Just like the Samick made Vantage in the 90's
