Paint code for red quantum or rail

I have just bought a red quantum that is in need of a repaint. I want to get the shade of red correct so it still matches my red rail. Does anyone know what the paint code would be for the red rails/quantums? It would make ordering paint a lot easier for me.

I don't believe I have ever seen a paint code reference for Westone but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

It was the practice for many builders of the 70's to use automotive colours, at least for the solid finishes. Toyota was a go to favourite but I can't say if Matsumoku followed that practice into the 80's.

I kind of suspect they had a more proprietary approach to colours, in line with their innovative designs.

For what it's worth, I have four Rails and four Quanta. My red Rail and Quantum are different shades of red, even where the clear was not applied. Each of my two black Rails have different clearcoat (one is thicker and glossier than the other), though my two black Quanta are identical. My white Rail & Quantum are the same bright white under the clear, and I assume were once the same clear.

If the base color is close, you could tint the clearcoat to nudge it toward your desired color.
