Can never understand why he takes a good Dimarzio out and sticks a silly looking single in a gaping hole and then thinks he's improved them.

Always check out his stuff for the questions folks ask...sent a few myself....Laughing

I love how he fails to mention the seriousness of the cracks in his listing, only upon prompting Laughing  does he mention the loose fretboard.

What he does is not to my taste, but I couldn't care less what he does with his own property and time.

If its too expensive it won't sell.

He seems a nice guy just trying to make a crust and is always civil even when being trolled.

I have the perfect solution with not being attracted by his mods. I just won't buy any of his items.

I might abide the lipstick pup IF it had been installed in a reasonably intelligent manner. The way it's sittng in that cavity is just ridiculous.

He has some ok, if optimistically priced, stuff sometimes. I once pulled him up over something he said in a description of a guitar. He got a bit arsey about it. No hard feelings, though, as I bought a pickup from him last week..

I actually wrote to this guy a while back when he was trying to pass off some cheap chinese guitars, a gould slimline LP type, as a korean or possibly Japanese guitar with some age to it. When I  informed him these guitars were not the vintage MiJ beauties he was passing them off as,  he actually got fairly nasty with me.

Edit after looking at some of his latest stuff. Wow. This guys actually got worse, he seems to think LPs have scarf joints, and practically  admits he cant read a wiring diagram. And while being something of a traditionalist with a firm belief guitars should have 6 strings, what he's done to that Jackson is jawdropping in its sheer stupidity. There was always going to be a glut of unwanted 7 strings, thank heavens he's here to botch them into 6 strings.

funniest couple of hours reading i've had on the web in a long time. He's improved every design of guitar ever built, and my what lookers they are.

Think i'll be bidding on the Squier by Fender/Peavey Tele-jag Custom

And i'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but when a guys trying to pass off Gould guitars (as he was until i pulled him on it) as 80s MiJ guitars then he is on the make. If I were the owner of CH guitars i would be on him like a ton of bricks, because he sure isn't doing them any favours associating them with his chop jobs.

Oh my god! Those 7 to 6 string jobs are shocking! And why is he putting single coils in EVERYTHING? I'd seen a few of his guitars before, and they weren't this bad.. Maybe he's having some sort of breakdown..
The reason for the barney I had with him was regarding something in a guitar description. What he said was incorrect, and it was something that was easy to check. It could've been down to ignorance and laziness, but then again, he was calling himself a 'luthier', and a 'luthier' might be expected to know a bit about the guitars he's working on..?! And as I said, he got quite arsey about it.

Hehe, he states that there is no place for a humbucker in the neck position, yet on one of his guitars he has replaced the neck HB with a dual rail single coil sized HB.........nuff said.

I love the butchered bridge saddles to make them 6 stringers.....what he should do us leave the original nut in place, cut the slots for 6 strings and leave all the tuners then he can sell 'em as 6 OR 7 stringers! I can't believe he doesn't even make a plastic cover for the single coils in the HB holes!

Adagio strings???  In G?

Take a look at the nut slots he files.

He's right and everyone's wrong, apparently...
