Well here I am begging again.
In addition to one lousy brass saddle (see other post) I am in need of 3 brass control knobs.

Corsair was quick to kindly offer me 2 (thanks again for the offer matey) so assuming that offer still stands, I'm begging for one more to complete the set. A set of repro's will again cost about what I paid for the guitar, so that ain't happenin'!

If I can't make up a set then I'll go with an alternative like custom Speed Knobs or possibly Spectrum knobs from TVill.

Tvill's speed knobs would look awesome on that thunder, not too alien either being from the westone family

Thanks Graham. I keep looking at those Telecaster knobs eh? They're quite similar. Maybe with a bit of "aging" with muriatic acid fumes? Or do ya think they'll just look crappy?

Ya Sarge, I think they may just do the trick in a pinch.

The offer stands, Barry, but I can't help thinking that it would look quite tasty with the Switchmaster knobs, eh!! Cool

Barry

I doubt if you will get away with black knobs on a black guitar. Just not enough going on to make it interesting. When my set arrives tomorrow, I will do some photos compared against originals.

Personally, I think the brass on black a little garish and Tvil will do coloured knobs anyway, though my LX is black with black hardware; I think it looks god!

I think they look just fine, even though I'm not a huge fan of black guitars. Wink

One more brass knob here if needed. I could send it to John and he could ship all three to you if you take him up on his offer.
Cheers

Don, you're a Prince! king
I'd make you the King but John been crowned that already.

Johnny, if you're able to coordinate I'm in your debt. Speaking of which PM me with postage costs and the best way to reimburse you. That'll be a heavyish package I reckon.

This is fantastic! The boyz from Down Under absolutely ROCK!
