I know. I relly want this guitar badly but $850 is kind of high. I would be intersted in it at around $500. It is beautiful and he will probably get the asking price +.

Thats lovely, Boutjp make an offer via e-mail, its how I got mine and did the deal after the auction ended. I do think $500 seriously undervalues the guitar tho. On the other hand the starting bid seems a bit high. Can you get to play it first cos if its like mine you will buy?

I know I have a Rainbow II that I love to play and I can only imagine that the Session plays nicer. I have seen Sessions go for $450 - $500 in the States. I am a very patient man and will wait years to get the right guitar at the right price. I got my Rainbow II in beautiful condition for a little over $400.

This Session II comes with a case and is unmolested.

My Rainbow II was about $450 but did not have a case, and the STP had been replaced with a Bigsby and it has Sperzel locking tuners and a graphite nut. This set-up is very usable but I would rather have gotten the Rainbow in unmolested condition with a case.

This Session II is exquisite.

This is one of only three guitars I want to complete my collection. I also want a Pantera X390 and a Pantera X350MA. This guy should split his earnings with you because now I am really considering this beast. Well tax time is right around the corner and I always overpay my taxes during the year so I get a little money back instead of owing...Hmmmmmmm.

What a beauty, wish it was a little less expensive. I guess everyone felt that way, it didn't even get a bid at $850.

Gotta spread the word guys and gals (Polly)...The Session II is worth that kind of coin. I have one and it's fabulous. Westones are so underrated and I suppose it's our own faults. Maybe we're trying to keep a good thing to ourselves. I've been hoping to do some youtube videos to demo how our wonderful Westones and other Uncle Matt guitars are. You can usually find all kinds of other guitars on Youtube but try and find a Westone Prestige, Sesssion, Rainbow, etc...very few. Might be fun to do this as club thing and get out there and let you babies shine...then post you vids here. Just a thought...a little lame? Maybe ..Maybe not.

That is beautiful, I've a maple one but prefer the antique finish. Great guitars. If that was in the uk I would have bought that a while back. King nice one. Looks in very good condition as well. Congrats.

Nice one Boutjp, worth the bucks, hope its setup nicely, if not its worth spending the extra wonga, enjoy.
The tobacco finish or the blonde, what looks better? Dunno, theyre both stunning.
Youll find its a fair bit bigger than your other stuff.
I saw it came with an original hardcase, although Ive got a hardcase for mine its not original, would like to see some pics of that, oh no Im turning into a saddo wanting to see pics of guitar cases.

Seller stated to me via telephone that he swears it looks unplayed. Also stated the case is mint. He won't ship until Monday so it doesn't sit in a cold wearhouse on Sunday. Nice attention to detail by him. I have a local luthier that is amazing. He can't wait to have at the session, I was showing him the eBay listing on my phone when I dropped off my spectrum fx and thunder for setups yesterday. He setup my rainbow last month and I almost had to wrestle the guitar from him. Great Guy and great luthier. WWW.theguitarguild.com I think is the link.

Good work, bout - I know you'll enjoy it, eh!! Really looking forward to seeing it, and to your precis of it as a player!! Session II on fleabay Icon_smile

HA! Luthiers: they look a little askance if they haven't seen a Matt before, and then when you go to collect it, you have to do so at gunpoint!! My guy in NZ had seen 'em before and was most impressed by the attention to detail, playability and versatility of my Vantage; he did point out, however, and I have to agree with him on this, that there is perhaps a little too much going on with the switching arrangements to be an easy gigging guitar.
In the studio, sweet as, but onstage, they can be a little daunting.... Session II on fleabay Icon_cool Session II on fleabay Icon_biggrin

Dunno what you mean about the switches, my Electra X640 has four of them and I can get the sound I want in about a second since I know what does what.

I used to gig with my original Dim IV and let me tell you, by the end of a 30 minute set my shoulder felt dislocated. Very heavy guitar. My original spectrum fx was much better tone-wise and I started to gig more and more with it and my ibanez s and charvel avenger just because the Dim IV was so damn heavy and it really didn't provide a nice clean tone (I rarly needed it but we had a few songs with either clean intros or clean middle breakdowns). Now on the other hand my Aria Pro II XX Deluxe is probably the worst guitar ever for studio work but it is a fine gig guitar. Both Mats but at different ends of the spectrum...no pun intended.

In that case (!?) youve got a well crafted guitar for a decent price, presumably below the e-bay listing.
