I've asked the seller for the serial number to date it - I suspect it may be Korean since there's no mention of the Thunder II bass in pricelists after 84 and it seems to have the same unseasoned wood peeling paint problem as the Korean Thunder II 6 strings

Seller says there's no serial number, so most likely late 80s Korean
