Hi all. I am also looking for a Bendmaster FT or at least the cast block. Of course if anyone knows where to find one, Martyn gets first crack at it. Bendmaster - Bendmaster FT Icon_smile

Best of luck with your search fellas!
You might have better success with an eBay "project" guitar...there is/was an Electra-Westone for auction that had been totally trashed, but it still had its bridge. That's likely the only way you'll get one.

I was afraid someone would say that. Thanks for the encouragement. Bendmaster - Bendmaster FT Icon_biggrin I'll keep looking but maybe we'll get lucky here.

I have a spare sustain block off a precision tremolo tailpiece if you want it - I've compared it to the FT sustain block and they're absolutely identical.

Well, unfortunately this was a false alarm. My bridge may not actually be an FT even though the bridge looks the same from the top. Apparently the block is different. My bridge is actually off of a BC Rich. Anyone ever seen a sustain block like this?

Nope, doesn't ring any bells here, eh, but then I've never seen an FT in the flesh!! I do know, however, that the sustain block on my Electra X195 - which has a simple trem like the Westones - is without doubt the heaviest block I have ever seen; stonkingly heavy!!
That Electra wreck on ebay looks good for the bridge, eh....

I'm sitting here at Auckland Airport waiting for our flight to be called; wish us luck!!

LUCK!
Travel tip:
Um, in case of decreasing altitude,
extend arms horizontally,
take a dee-e-ep breath...
and then...
beat it like a monkey in a mango tree!

Bendmaster - Bendmaster FT Empty i need those saddles..

Post by catonine Mon Mar 01, 2010 4:05 pm

i need those saddles if you are up for selling them.. i only need one but i will buy the whole thing if you want to sell it.. that looks a lot like the trem on my 1990 spectrum 1-A.. my block is cracked where the bar goes in and the height adjuster screws have rusted solidly in place on one of the saddles.. the cheap screw broke apart while trying to break it loose.. but it was stil stronger than the saddle metal when i attempted to drill it out.. didnt happen.. anyways if you want to get rid of it or just sell/donate one sadlle i am interested.. thanks..

Bendmaster - Bendmaster FT Empty Sustain block.

Post by Ragnarawk Wed Jun 23, 2010 11:06 pm

As it turns out, I also need that exact same sustain block. I ended up getting a guitar from a friend that had it rigged so poorly that it DIDNT EVEN COME WITH THE SUSTAIN BLOCK! They had it all sorts of crazy rigged, and it's literally like bringing this guitar back from the dead. I can't verify the legitimacy of the guitar, but it's "apparently" An epiphone flying V with the serial 0111933 and it had what you see in the picture at the end of this link, on it. No arm, no sustain bar, bent up coils, no locking nuts, no tuning screws, no screws to screw the sustain block that wasnt there into the bridge. I need parts, and would really appreciate any help that could be offered on this. The txt on the bridge picture says "MFG FLOYD ROSE PATENTS" https://i.servimg.com/u/f64/15/34/81/94/imag0111.jpg
