Hi guys, and before I go on any further, a safe and happy
Christmas to you and yours this year!!

Sadly, I will not be able to be around much any for a while
as we are about to embark on our great adventure which includes a brief 6 week
stint in Mackay, Queensland in Australia followed by a 2 year contract in the
Channel Islands and after that, who knows but probably the US/Canada. What this
means is that because we will not be taking a computer with us we’ll be out of
touch for a few months until we get our stuff sent across from NZ.

I will check in from time to time from interweb cafes and
the like but otherwise you’ll just have to muddle along without me…

Merry Xmas and a brilliant 2010 to you all!!

When you say "Channel Islands" do you mean Jersey & Guernsey? Not too far from UK if you hop on a plane to Southampton.

Oh heck, now what am I going to do? I won't be able to forward any of my funny and (sometimes) rude emails onto you! When does the big adventure start and have I got time to finish that missive I've been holding in a draft for the past couple of weeks?
