'82 Thunder I-A "Special. VERY SPECIAL"
Over the short time I've been a member of this fine forum, I've got to see some amazing guitars for sale (the Session II for instance!). The flip side is to find them stupidly customised or as some say "professionally modified" examples, and of course, the just plain overpriced Westones out there!
Predictably I have found yet another stupid one, so if your sitting comfortably then check out this SLIGHTLY MODIFIED THUNDER I-A!
A neck pickup that looks like it's been nicked from a Marlin Sidewinder and a "stainless steel" scratch plate that looks a lot like mirrored plastic. The original knobs are M.I.A. again, and seem to have been replaced with some old Uncle Mat era Aria fluted speed knobs?
All this can be yours for just £349 and that is just an opening bid!
Bargain!!!!

Well, to be charitable, it ain't as bad as I was bracing for.
At least the body hasn't been diddled with.
That pick guard looks like its primary use is to signal the Mother ship at the end of the gig.
