1980 westone serial no 001009

Good Day hope you are all well . First visit to the site after viewing a clip on youtube. I have a Westone electric that i purchased along with a fender princeton in 1980 but dont know anything else about it I purchased them from a jazz guitarist from Rockhampton in Queensland Australia in early 1980. He went on to attend the conservatorium in California. The guitar is in as new condition as well as the gold lined case. The serial no is 001009. Can anyone tell me something about it Thanks Rob

I forgot to mention that the fellow i bought it off said the guitar had strat pickups Regards Rob

The serial number can only tell you when your Westone was made, in your case January 1980,
not the model.

From what you said it is possibly one of the Spectrum models or a Concord but we need pictures to identify it accurately.
