Thunder 1A Bass 9v batteries heating
I recently acquired a Westone Thunder 1A Bass.
It had no battery cover or 9v battery connectors.
I attached new connectors and within minutes the batteries were red hot.
Anyone have any ideas why or solutions / fixes?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. I'll have to get someone more savvy than me to look at it!
Works in passive mode. Can only assume that the previous owner took the battery connector out due this problem.
