Westone Switchmaster Knobs
Hello - the resources are scarce this far on, but I am in search of 2 to 3 Westone Knobs in black. Reproductions will do too of course - the ones that look like small Reece's Peanut Butter Cups.
I will try to PM the one person on here who was making them, but they don't seem active for a few years now.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Westone Switchmaster Knobs
Ah, a fellow Canuck! Welcome here!
Yeah these are about as scarce as rocking horse poo, but they do show up on eBay from time to time, at ridiculous prices I might add.
Over time, several members have tried their hand at molding replications, mostly with success, but as you have noticed they tend to stay around and help for a short while, then they're gone.
Try PM'ing the member who was making these and cross you fingers that you get a reply.
You should also know there are metal and plastic versions, as well as some with metal inserts and set screws, and others which are friction fit. Lots of experimentation over the various instrument model year releases, but it's the same design and they all fit.

Westone knobs on Ebay
Thanks Barry - you know? I found an eBay seller who is making them. He had no stock, but I emailed him anyhow and he reposted the listing. Seems you place the order and then he makes. The plastic ones with the set screw to mount the knob - great for the push/pull pots. Here is the Ebay link:
Ugh - being a newbie I can't post URLS. Ok the eBay item right now is 284224327530.
Seller is: reproguitarparts
He's charging $12 ea but seems to be the only going right now. Cheers!

Re: Westone Switchmaster Knobs
Sorry about the wait, it's a SPAM eliminator, nothing personal.
I was not able to locate that eBay item#, I get comic books and other assorted stuff, but no knobs. Couldn't find the seller either.
There are 2 other (expensive) listings, one from the States, one from Japan. Everything Westone or Matsumoku is going up in price again as a new wave of players discover these fantastic instruments.

Barry, I wish I could send URL's in messages - still too new of a user...
Ug, ok, let's see. Try a search on eBay.com for "Electra Westone Guitar Volume or Tone knob"
That should bring up a listing that is fairly new, and comes in at $12 USD each. Does this work?

Re: Westone Switchmaster Knobs
Did anyone find that seller? If I can't find one, I may have a go at casting some of my own in poly. Doesn't look too hard.
Just need to find the time. That is the hard bit...

Re: Westone Switchmaster Knobs
Does anyone know the size of the grub screw? I'd like to try and source those before I buy the mould kit.
