A minty fresh looking left hand THUNDER II-A model on the 'Bay, in the rather fetching 'Sunset Red' finish.

I'm not to sure but I think it has a 1981 serial on it. I'd love to find out how many lefty guitars left the Westone factory back in the day, can't be many?

It looks very nice from the two photos. Just as well the English quid is worth lots more than the Aussie dollar or I might have tried a bid.

Does it have a TOM bridge, and would that have been original? Also is it a neck through?

G'day Bunyip - it looks like a pearler; setneck and the bridge looks OEM to boot! Go on - you know you wanna... Laughing

If it was right handed, it would be perfect... it even has the cream colored pickups that are so much prettier than boring old black... and what little can be seen of the grain is beautiful...

G'day corsair - my wife is a Kiwi so I know all about you lot.

It certainly is a nice looking Thunder, and it would be great alongside my current pair of Thunder 1s . The two tone natural finish is very attractive, but alas I have just spent my guitar allowance on some Rondo lefties, and anyway it looks like the seller will only ship within the UK.

The auction ended and it has gone for £320 ! gulp Thunder II-A LEFT HANDED (UK) Icon_eek

Good job I persevered with learning guitar right handed, my hobby would have turned out a hell of a lot more expensive than it already is!

I thought the T2s were through necks not set/glued ie the neck wood goes right through the body?

Strong price but nowhere near what a T3 went for a little while ago.
