Hey guys, do you know what kind of thread the Gibson style pickup selector switch on the Thunder II bass uses? I'm wondering if it's the same size as Gibson. I'm wanting to fit a Schaller brass tip which are intended for Switchcraft/Gibson switches.

I'm picking the thread will be metric on the Thunder, and imperial on a Gibson, but other than that, no, sorry!

See if the shop will let you try one; if it screws on, well and good but if you need to force it, not so good?!

Unfortunately there are no shops nearby! I live in a fairly remote area, so this has to be an Internet purchase, hence me wanting to get it right and not waste money. There's definitely somebody out here who knows if these switches are metric or imperial, I just hope they log in soon!

Hi,

Schaller is a German company, means metric!
As Corsair stated, Thunder is also metric, I would give it try.

To put this in maths, 95% chance that they will fit.

If I'm wrong, sorry....
