Westone WSS-327BL Electro Acoustic ? (UK)
I guess THIS is a Chinese built guitar, as I can't find the model number in the Westone.info site. I'm not sure if there is much point putting it up here but someone might find it interesting.
It's odd, it has the wings logo but no 'Westone' name logo on it anywhere?
I think it looks quite nice actually, apart from the colour that is! . £30 starting bid + £18 p+p within the UK.
DAN.

Just say "no" Dan.
I don't know if this is an original design either, but at least they're not using the Westone name/logo on a Strat or LP clone as we've seen lately! (sigh)

Dan, Dan, Dan...my man.
My seriously twisted, deluded man.
It's green fer Pete's sake.
Its dot markers are off kilter.
And it's little sound hole is all squishy and everything.
If you hit an E chord its little arse falls off!
Step away from the Chinese Westone!
Sit. Breathe. Now...go play a real Westone.

Barry, I get the distinct impression that your not a fan of this guitar.
Your very negative, it's got character!

I like the way it looks. Wouldn't buy it, but I dig the style.

Another one for the on stage Pete Townshend moment, for 30$ seems o.k. to me.
I would like to see this guitar, sorry, mistreated piece of wood and plastic, torched.
Gives a fine add on to the show. You can have a slash, drink a beer and change to another guitar.
People please forget all these Chi.. crap, stick to the real stuff.

You can't say no to a guitar based on where it's built, guys. Westones were considered crap because they were built in Japan, that's why they aren't more prominent. Now, you tell me: are Westones crap? Because I sure don't think so. And my made in China Yamaha guitar is just fine for what it is. I bet this acoustic is fine for its price range too.
It just isn't worthy of the name. Obviously.

Re: Westone WSS-327BL Electro Acoustic ? (UK)
Unlike better known makes (Gibbo/ Fender), Westone as a company isn't around to sue the sorry ass off anyone who pinches the brand name. As I recall, post MIJ Westones were made in UK to Sid Poole designs and then a German company acquired the right to use the name. Inevitably at some point Chinese knock-offs were going to appear.
Personally I don't have a problem, so long as these are being sold as new MIC guitars;no-one on here is going to be fooled and they may play OK. There's many a good guitar made in the far East, Yamaha raised the bar years ago with the Pacifica and these are made wherever labour costs are lowest.
If anyone tries to offload the "new" Westones as MIJ originals that is a big problem, but probably unlikely in my view.
