XA1530 Genesis I Anniversary (Transparent Brown)

I ready the sticky, and I am posting this here to allow you, as Westone fans, a first opportunity to tell me to shove off.

I bought this guitar in 1996 as my first electric, but I didn't think much about what I was doing and was simply infatuated with the look of the transparent finish.

However, that bendmaster just isn't for me.  It's not my style and it frankly gets in my way enough that I just never really played the guitar much, which resulted in the guitar spending the vast majority of the past 23 years in the case.

The upside to that is that it is all original and in very good condition.

There are a few pick marks on it that would probably buff off, and a couple of minor scratches on the back side, but nothing that you would see unless you were up close and scrutinizing it.  There is one minor ding in the very tip of the headstock.

The allen wrenches are long gone, and there are a few screws missing from the cover plate on the back.   Everything else is still there, including the original case.  I even still have the key to lock the case.

I am located in central North Carolina, USA.
I'm asking $400 for it, and I am aware that bargaining will likely ensue. 

What a beauty! If I were closer, there would be some haggling, but alas...

I don't use a trem much either so I tend to just ignore it as much as possible.

Very Beautiful Guitar... Gotoh makes a better Tremolo now that could replace the Bendmaster with no Mods... Though id keep the Original in the Case with this.

The Missing Allen's is a 3mm and a Smaller 2 or 2.5 that fit the Saddles for Intonation on the Bend Master about 1.00 or less for them.  If I didn't have a sick family member id be willing to make an offer.

For a First Guitar you got a Beautiful Guitar...

What is the Gotoh term that fits? I may have a plan for something later....

Gotoh GE1996T I installed 2 on my Westone Spectrum III's that had the Bendmaster's no mods needed just set the springs and intonation on the saddles and your Rocking...

( Um, the string spacing on that Gotoh bridge is 10.8mm which, technically, is too wide.
Should be 10.5mm. )

If the concern is not liking the style of the Bendmaster you might consider THIS ONE instead.

If however, it's more a matter of just not wanting a trem bridge, that's a different issue. Simply hard tail it and play away.

The Guitar fetish site lists that bridge as having 10.8 mm spacing also unless Im reading wrong ?

That Gotoh bridge is a well made beauty.  I have one on my Dynasty.  Well worth it!
