They often come out with stunning variations on the classic designs. They also make a gorgeous sounding jazz box called 5th Avenue which I'd love to get one day (sigh).

This particular Acousticaster that Hendrik is talking about is supposed to have an onboard EQ that looks like this: LINK.

I dunno what this a-hole has done exactly, I can't tell much from the picture, but it looks like he's taken out the EQ and replaced it with a volume pot(?), then mounted it on a piece of plastic cut from the bottom of a Dollar Store food tub!? Hideous!

But at least it doesn't look like he's wrecked the guitar itself?

That's what he said about his modification:

"Godin Acousticaster modified with Schertler's Bluestick pickup"

The word should not be modified, it should moron...
