Possible Acquisition: Westone Dana Signature "super strat"
I am waiting for requested info on a Westone Dana. All I have is one very bad, fuzzy picture that looks like it was taken with a cell phone.
He's asking $200 and from the pic all I can tell is that it's black and looks like it has 3 pups. Can't see a trem but I assume it has one so according to the Westone.info site it's either a model II DELUXE or a III LTD.
This style really isn't my kind of thing but...I said the same thing about the Concord II that I just picked. Now I can't put it down!
Anyone know anything about these Dana's??

Grab it, brother!! There's little known but David at Westone.info is corresponding with Dana Sutcliffe with a view to getting some info up on site. They are said to be of a very high standard indeed, so maybe ask for some better pix? How far away is it from you?

Got some decent pix from the seller. Looks to be in good shape.
Active boost
Looks like an extra spring was added.
Does the serial # make it an '89??
As I said, not my cup of tea, but interesting. I haven't said "no" yet. The seller has had it up for sale for awhile and may be amenable to dropping the price. I have to travel some distance to get it and I'm not feeling a "fire in the belly" for it at this point.
BTW: He also has a Mann strat, natural finish for sale same price.

I know the feeling, Barry!! It's one of them "Should I or shouldn't I?! Mmmm..." Still, it's a real find and you'd be the only kid with one in the playground - I think!
Yep, '89...

Barry old horse, you've outdone yourself. Despite it not being exactly right down your alley, that's a good find!! Active pups, check, massive trem system, check, 8 bazillion pup combo permutations and (likely) tones, check, black, check (sorry Warrn)... looks like a real metal screamer.
I've never seen one of these..... seems like they are rare, yes?
I'll bet you'd like it, but like John said, I know the feeling of .... what to do with this one???

The more I look at it though the more I realize this isn't for me. The seller is located in Oshawa about an hour's drive from me. Anyone interested can PM me for the details.
