Time to sell up.

Good afternoon,

It's been very many years since I looked in here and, sadly, probably for the last time. I've had a great time playing and collecting Westone guitars ever since the early eighties when I only played drums (played some great kits since). I sold most of the collection about five years ago but kept my original Thunder 1A bass and 4 other guitars I felt were special. I also have a small collection of catalogues and price lists - 3 originals that I obtained direct from a dealer in 84/85 (a couple used on the Info & .net sites), some I've bought, some ads and an original unmarked Thunder Active G & B operating manual. I'm not sure whether they have any value but I shall be putting most up for sale over the next few months on the usual outlets (perhaps keeping the 1A bass for old times sake).

My reason for posting is to gauge whether the market for collecting still exists or if a job lot at my local auction house would be a better bet. Cheers in advance for your thoughts.

A Rainbow I Guitar
A pro-refinished Thunder I bass

All from the 83/84 era with Bird logo.

Is the Thunder II pearl white or midnight blue?

Sorry people who have messaged etc. Had a bit of an unexpected crisis crop up over the weekend culminating in a 500 mile round trip yesterday. I'll be catching up over the next couple of days.
