New Historical Information About Matsumoku
A Japanese member of the Matsumoku.org guitar forum has returned after some absence.
"Tad" is a very interesting fellow with a passionate interest in the golden age of Japanese guitar making, and a soft spot for all things Mats. He's a player, collector and a writer, and is responsible for the information currently on our web site concerning the Mats memorial.
He's posted "new" pictures of the Mats plant circa 1986, as well as its first production director Harayama, along with links to a couple of lengthy Japanese articles. All good stuff, even in translation.
If you're at all curious about the Mats' legacy have a look and follow along HERE.
