Been after one in this colour for ages...
Have a black one also but it's just black.

In near mint condition with original case.

Must have alnico V's in the pups. Marked MMK45 but sound way less muddy.

They play real good. Comfy on the strap or sitting.

The bridge seems a little 'timid' on a body like that, just IMO of course.

Ah yes-s-s, a fantastic guitar! Love that finish.
And as you say, surprisingly comfortable to play standing or sitting. You wouldn't think it judging by the shape.

I have always been puzzled by the neck pup in my U60T. It's not a '45, it's OEM, and it's shallower in order to clear the neck tongue. These are the only pix I have handy. Any guess as to what it is?

I have a knack for finding knackered equipment.   
Not only was the U60 in miserable condition when I got it, the case suffered from this bizarre "shadow":

 

After a bit of work I managed to reduce the contrast somewhat,but the bugger is still there:

Faded from the sun or spray paint?

Hard to say...it really looks like someone put a Spectrum type case on top and over sprayed it. God knows why.

Doesn't seem to be Sun fade because it did improve with some cleaning. If I was more anal about it I'd have another go at it. But bugger it. Good enough.

Re the shallow pickups, I had the same in my Quest Atak 2 and 5. The bridge was a 45, but neck was shallow to allow next to go under.

Thanks Adey. I guess Mats/Aria decided to design things this way. But it would be nice to know what's in there eh? As I say, it does sound good.

Very nice colour, still searching for one in green.

Throw a Floyd on the Urchin and change the headstock... and it could almost be mistaken for a modern design "metal" guitar.   The flowing lines are elegant and dangerous.  So cool!

It took l me awhile to appreciate this guitar. I wasn't sure I'd take to a "goofy" design like this.
Maybe it was all the time I put into bringing it back to life, I dunno, but I really do love the feel and playability and of course the sound of it now.

Deceptively wonderful it is.
