One Black Bendmaster Adjustment screws Empty One Black Bendmaster Adjustment screws

Needed for my White/Red Striped Dynasty.  Realized one reason why the thing doesn't stay in tune  (despite her sexy looks) is I've never been able to adjust one of the Black screws is loose.  Granted - I could find something in a hardware store that MIGHT work, I'd like to keep it original.

114 views and no responses:  Because I didn't clarify: (Bendmaster) Fine Tuners (screws).  Anyone know if these are the same as the "Floyd Rose Froftsbp Original Series"  (as seen on the 'Bay)?

I missed this one, sorry!! I have some Hohner fine tuners that you can have one of; they are the same pitch and size as Bendmaster ones.

FR fine tuners are a sloppy fit; not ideal! Is this a Deluxe or an FT? The Hohner ones are quite long, as are the FT ones; they're not really suited to a Deluxe, eh!

I had a model maker friend make some personalised caps for hardware store Allen bolts for a Deluxe; maybe you could go down that route??

Is the thread on the fine tuner stripped, or is it the mounting hole that's gone?

John - apologies for the late reply. It is an '85 Dynasty (white/red pin)... has Bendmaster FT.  The hole threads are fine... but I'm missing two (and would never ask you for such a favor).  I guess I'm screwed (lol).

I remember one was bent and I don't know what became of the other. Maybe it was never there - I'm terrible at setups and desperately need a good Youtube for Bendmaster tremelo instructions  (Forum post plea to follow Smile

Mate, if I can find them, you're welcome to 'em! I think I have 2 left from 5 that I was gifted by Eastern Music in Jersey in 2011, so just paying it forward, eh!
PM me your postal addy if you want them, bearing in mind they are not exactly the same as the OEM Bendmasters!!
The Bendmaster bridges aren't that hard to set up; as Barry said it's just a matter of balancing the string tension with the spring tension so that the flat base of the bridge is sitting parallel, or just slightly down at the rear, to the body. Make sure you have the height roughly set on the bridge posts before you start setting the bridge. On the FT, you can fine tune the height of each saddle; on the Deluxe you can't.

Just change one string at a time.
