Nice split at the headstock...

Not a split, scratch.

I think it's a scratch if you're selling and a split of you're buying.

Although the seller has advised it is a "stress crack" - so, somewhere between the two of us!

A structural crack would normally follow the grain in the wood. If a "crack" occurs at an angle to the grain or is "alligator-ed" that's usually a stress induced fracture of the finish only.

This particular picture shows a rambling line which would indicate a surface scratch.

Still looks like a split to me - on pic 11, running under the fretboard from the binding junction with the headstock. I had exactly the same on my Vox Custom 24...

To me that looks like a split too

Ah, see, I was looking at the pictures in the original listing in post#1. The only thing showing there was the head stock with a light scratch at the top of the face.

I just looked at the second link in post #4 and the seller has now added these 2 pictures. The original was missing those. Sorry for the confusion, but we're both right! 

Yes, that is a separation of the fret board and normally a easy repair.
