"The original 83/84 versions were often swapped out, but these 85/86 versions actually pack a helluva punch. They are wired with 3 wires:

white = live
shield = netral
red = coil-tap wire.

Both pickups have approx 6.5k impedance in humbucking mode, half that in single coil mode."
