NGD Washy Falcon
This arrived on Thursday, Friday saw me address the stoned flat frets and clean the board/general de-funking.
Not as heavy as I'd read online, including hard case it came in at 8.7Kg
I think it's Ash with the rosewood top, the pickups look very much like Mighty Mite, unbranded bases but the same wiring arrangement as my other MM buckers.
Not really had a chance to crank it as yet, though all sounds good.
Push/pull coil split (cut?) on both volumes, but neck is pull to engage single coil, bridge is pull for full bucking..I like it.

Thanks!
It was, I've seen guitars 3 years old in terrible condition, yet this is near spotless!
the mind boggles.

Re: NGD Washy Falcon
There's some debate as to the origins of these, yes they're in the Mats catalogues, but on the circuic board in the tin box control cavity is printed "made at Yamaki"
Some say these are Mats built and sent out to Yamaki for electrics...
thoughts?

Re: NGD Washy Falcon
Nice looking Washy Sargey....always fancied one from the wing series myself.
As far as I know the Washburn wing series was built at the Yamaki factory at exactly the same time as those beautiful Daions.

Don't remember posting this, but looking at the day/time I sent it there's a good chance I got tanked before thw football.....
Didn't mean to be rude to you westcoaster, well I don't think I did!
If that was an offer then thanks but I have a P250 already.
With Christmas round the corner I will consider serious offers but it would have to be a big offer as I'm not thinking of selling it.

Re: NGD Washy Falcon
No worries (I think I was well into a second bottle of red when I posted) it was in jest, I'd never get rid of a P250. Although, if one of those washy falcons in that condition ever came up I'd need to have a serious look at my finances.
Enjoy, she's an absolute beaut.
