Is there anything that you're moving onto, or just selling for other reasons?  Hate to see someone sell a collection.

I got the Alvarez Paramount from a pawn shop to flip, but baffled by the utter lack of interest on eBay.
I got another x390 Pantera w/o a broken headstock, so this one is now superfluous.

And I never play the Challenger or the Trevor Rabin.

I got a red Dimension IV refurbished, with a brand new Floyd Rose, so the white Dim IV is superflous.

I also still have a red Spectrum MX.

With part of the proceeds, there is a nice x275 I like.

So it is more re-adjusting my collection, rather than selling off.

was that your AER on ebay?  I thought it would sell.  I had mine listed for much more and had offers for less than my set price but more than you were asking so I thought it would sell.

and I would think about taking that 390 from ya, but I really don't want to sand it down to make that repair look nice.  Panteras are a lot of work when it comes to sanding eh

Yep, that was mine.

I would have broke even at that price (I got a great deal at the pawn shop), but honestly, it is SOOO much better than a $100 guitar.  And yet, not up to the quality of my other guitars, so it won't get played much.

I'm kind of torn.

IMO the AER300 that you have is a 1k guitar.  it has the set neck and body contour like the 390.  some AER III's have the bolt on which makes it a totally different beast.  I would sit on it and try again later.  I only was going to sell mine to fund the repair of the WER100 that I got that is in 15 pieces and needs major work. - A real challenge.  I didn't get the 1k so I'm sitting on mine for awhile.  You may have seen the link to the Rabin I want to fix, but if not : BIG PROJECT

I agree that the Trever Rabin is worth that much in guitar value, but in market value, they seem to be not even worth $600.

But the market is REALLY low right now.  It is a buyer's market for everything but Cobalt Blue x390s with Kahler trems.

Market is poor right now, not very surprising.  Our little communities created a bubble, IMO.  Collecters got what they wanted or enjoyed the thrill for a while.  There will always be a market for old Japanese guitars, however, especially 80's guitars that scream the part.  Buy now if you want some, the time is tight.
