Just a quickie (always the best). 1984 Thunder 1A bass phase switch - which way does what? Switch towards neck - series or parallel ?

Hi tuna. On my 84 the "hollowed out" sound is with the switch towards the neck. And the more bassy tone toward the bridge. Don't know which one is which but that's how it is!

It's a series/parallel switch.
Series = fatter
Parallel=thinner, sound that is
