A different knob option
I just recieved one of THESE in the mail as a temporary stand-in for a switchmaster, it's on my X300 and is superb.
Same dimensions as the thunder brass knob @22mm, the position marker is a slot cut into it, very classy imo, grub screw fixing.
just a wee heads up for a decent knob as there doesn't seem to be many different options out there.

Aye, the sides have a faint vertical groove for a slightly better grip, I'll be getting more of these for sure.

Maplins used to do those years ago. Still do the ali ones but not the black.
Only problem was getting them to 'sit' right as when you turn them they go eccentric. Really made for a solid shaft.
