Not a Westone in sight...
Dragged all my gigging kit out and blew the dust off it....

Only 1 Westone, though the Electra XV-1 might as well be!!
I had me some FUN!!

Re: Not a Westone in sight...
Love that Avenger John.
Good to see the muse is rearing it's little head again.
God, I wish I could be wearing shorts!!! Worst damn winter here in about 20 odd years. Five straight months of frickin' freezin' misery! Looks like it's finally about to turn the corner into Spring...if the bloody ice and snow melts!

Understanding neighbours?? or are they deaf..

Re: Not a Westone in sight...
indeed, just the three.
.... at that moment in time! Since then, the U-60, the Invader, strat, VA900 and Spectrum MX have been abused....
Boy, I have forgotten much of my (appalling) keyboard skills and I had to really think about tunings to put the lap steel back into tune; may be time to rationalise the kit and divest myself on some gear....
Neighbours on both sides are a little deaf, and the ones directly behind me have a very loud cockatoo so I'm not too worried... besides, it wasn't THAT loud!! Much....
Barry, I only wear socks and shoes when playing croquet, and have worn T shirts and shorts only for 2 years now.... i love being warm!!

That's great John!
Very cool buddy, glad you got to do blow the dust off. We need that every now and again, any way to get together with a couple other musicians and play some covers or something?
That Vantage is gorgeous.
So, think you'll consider jamming with some locals?

Dunno... my chops are truly awful, and around here C&W is "the go"... not my favoured type of music to perform!

Swine John
If it's olde tyme C&W I'd agree with you. But if you lean into a little Vince Gill or Keith Urban, well now...corsair wrote:Dunno... my chops are truly awful, and around here C&W is "the go"... not my favoured type of music to perform!

Yes, I know there's good alt country about; I like the Decemberists and I've always loved bluegrass but around here its the 3 chord bump-diddly-bump that is favoured....
