Manufacturer refurbished ?
Defretted by westone themselves -really?
If so it must have cost more than the original purchase price in shipping costs alone to get it shipped to Japan and back.
Unless of course anyone knows differently.

Under the Condition section he says the work was done by a "manufacturer-approved vendor". But in the main description he says, "turned to fretless by westone them self" (sic)

not sure on who exactly but was sent to westone to be de fretted so one of there employees and not sure when but a while back probs 10 years ago +

Wow! That me told then, never goung to be able to buy anything ever again on ebay
yes ur correct westone is no longer around and yes it japeness but did u realize that wetone at the time had distrubtion centers around the would where you could buy there guitars from westone shops yes they were made in japan then shipped else where my cusion (as this bass was his i have only had it 2 years) to it to a westone shop for the fret job so im not posting anything incorect please do not bid as i will not sell to you if u win and ur reported for rudeness and sugesting im lieing thank you and please dont message me back thank you as im just blocking comunication- ross2k8Reply in your email program or through My Messages

I remember back in the day there were at least 5 Westone shops in my street.
They were all filled with little Japanese guys who would sit there all day pulling frets out of bass guitars.
I didn't understand it at the time but it is all clear now.
I can vouch for the guy. He is telling the truth.
