Repairing a Nut with Baking Soda and Super Glue
My 'close personal friend' Dan Erlewine, sent me a video on using super glue and baking soda to repair a guitar nut. I know some of you here have used this trick before but it's still an interesting vid.
He actually shows how to repair a vintage ivory nut using the same technique with bone shavings: LINK

Bone shavings! Baking soda!
He must be Hank Marvin. Take him to the zoo or the pictures or even McDonalds...for a nut cutlet and a baking soda...

Ya, I thought that a bit odd. But I suppose it was more for the colour match?
He never actually did show a baking soda repair. Not many of us have a vintage acoustic guitar to repair
