Westone Thunder III Bass

Bought this via Ebay thinking ok deal!

Untill it got to me.

A few battle scars eh! not 'arf pop pickers.
The fingerboards hanging off which was not even mentioned.

Anyway having to go through an Ebay resolution as the sellers arguing the toss.
They even relisted it while  still in my possesion and still not mentioning the neck damage.
Ebay have removed it.

Anyway just to let you guys know in case someone might fancy a bid in the future because it's going back.

Good night, Irene!!! Not the least bit close to a description of "a few battle scars"... this one has seen 2 great wars plus a few long campaigns in the bargain.

Best of luck in the resolution Damian. In the end ebay virtually always sides with the buyer, yet you'll still be out of pocket for the shipping both ways I fear. The price of dealing with a seller with zero feedback once in a while I suppose...

My last 3 purchases off Ebay have gone back.
Just my luck at the mo on there.

One the seller just never got in touch at all. Ebay case. Fine you win but it takes 2 weeks, while your money's tied up with pay pal.

Second, Just not as described. Same thing Ebay case.

Third is this bass.

In the first 2 cases  postage fee was refunded and this one will be also.

The return post is all you lose but you still 'king lose!!

The thing is you have the dosh tied up in the case.

2 cases at once and it starts to add up and now a third.

This is good gas money on hold while you could be buying another.

yikes!!.... ....I very nearly bid on this one myself when it was up first time round, I emailed the seller asking him for more pictures and a mark out of 10 for condition.
He replied saying the condition was 8/10 and the 'jack was a bit loose'.....looks more like a 3/10 and the main thing a bit loose was his description... 
He did also state that the action was perfect....

Don't know why but I didn't bid on it for some reason.....maybe it was his email address...beardo da weardo, that put me off

An accurate description is the least you should expect, really hope you get it sorted Westbone.

By the way He turns out to be a She.

Hence I'm more than likely to be wrong, apparently.....

as of right this minute....it appears to be back on ebay and gumtree...

Well it'll be in my possession until 5 August as it's more than likely going to be escalated to the resolution center at E bay and I can't send it back until then. She won't return the cash as of now.

So that's 2 1/2 weeks with your money tied up!!!!

Feel sorry for the next buyer.

The bridge pup doesn't work neither.  

Left some negative feedback  to put folks off buying it.

I saw that on the bay, earlier, and was thinking, "Hmmm.. nice price.." I didn't have a proper look, though..

Guy wants banning of ebay - too many rip-off artists on there, these days!

Some poor soul has just 'bought it now' for £150.....curious as to how they are actually going to arrange delivery since its still at Westbone's house....could get messy...

Poor soul indeed, Anyway she's sent my money back via pay pal(takes a good few days to transfer, why??) and E bay have also granted a full refund in my favour.

Guitar is on schedule for return.

 Might be on return in the future  when the new guy gets it.
They;re certainly in for a surprise.....

Just saw this one on ebay and thought it went cheap, was cussing until reading this thread. Unlucky run Damian but the bad is behind you.
